A Purrfy is a purr therapy device. Its soothing purrs were recorded from real cats and the Purrfy vibrates at the exact frequency of the cat purrs.

The Purrfy helps people access the healing and soothing properties of cat purrs. Holding a Purrfy can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and ease anxiety and depression.

People use their Purrfys for all sorts of things! Common uses include soothing anxiety, relieving stress, comforting yourself or others, and sleeping better. We cuddle our Purrfys while we read and watch TV, listen to them while we sleep, use them as nightlights, and hold them during meditation sessions. We take them to work and school to create small moments of calm during busy days.

We take our Purrfys travelling with us—nothing eases the stress of airports and planes like holding a Purrfy. Purrfys are small, which means they’re easy to carry in a bag or the palm of your hand. You can take them in cars, buses, trains, and ferries. A Purrfy can go anywhere with you.

Anyone can use a Purrfy! A Purrfy can help anyone, regardless of age and ability.

Purrfys are 13 centimetres (5 inches) tall and weigh 120 grams (10 ounces). About the size of a coffee mug and comfortable to hold in one or both hands.

Turn your Purrfy on with the power button at the back. Press it again to turn on the built-in light. Press it a third time to turn your Purrfy off.

Use your Purrfy’s eyes to change the volume and intensity of its purrs and other sounds. Press the right eye to increase the volume and intensity. Press the left eye to decrease the volume and intensity.

Use your Purrfy’s nose to cycle through the different purrs.

You can charge your Purrfy with a USB-C cable. The USB-C port is on the back of your Purrfy, beside the power button.

A red light will come on to show you that your Purrfy is charging.

The red light will turn off when your Purrfy is fully charged.

The default colour for the Purrfy is blue. You can buy outer silicone skins in four extra colours: green, pink, purple, and orange.

You can change the outer silicone skin on your Purrfy to switch between colours.

Roll the outer skin up from the bottom until you can pull it off your Purrfy.

Select your new colour and fold up the bottom of the skin. Slide it onto the body of your Purrfy and roll it down.

You can use a damp cloth to wipe down your Purrfy.

If your Purrfy needs a more thorough clean, you can remove the outer silicone skin. You can then wash the outer silicone skin with mild soap or put it in a dishwasher.

If you wash the outer skin in a dishwasher, make sure to put it on the top shelf.

Never get the main body of the Purrfy wet. The main body must not come in contact with liquid of any kind.

To remove the outer skin, roll it up from the bottom until you can pull it off your Purrfy. Once it’s clean, fold up the bottom. Slide it onto the body of your Purrfy and roll it down.

If your Purrfy is behaving erratically, it may be caused by a low battery charge. Charge the battery for 3-4 hours, then try again. Make sure that your Purrfy isn’t on while you’re charging it.

If the problems continue, hold the power button down for 10+ seconds. This will fully reset your Purrfy.
